How to organize your Twitter (X) bookmarks
Folders sort what you saved. Deciding on each bookmark is what makes the pile smaller.

Option 1: Bookmark folders on X
Bookmark folders are part of X's paid subscription. X's help page documents them under X Premium, and they're private. On the free plan, bookmarks are one long list with the newest first.
Create a folder
Open Bookmarks, tap the New Folder icon at the bottom of the page, name the folder and tap Create.
File a post as you save it
Long press the Bookmark icon on a post and choose Add to Folder. Every bookmark also stays in All Bookmarks.
Move older bookmarks
In All Bookmarks, long press the Bookmark icon on a post and pick a folder. Long press again to take it out. Removing a post from a folder doesn't delete the bookmark.
Folders work well if you file as you go. For a backlog of hundreds of bookmarks, you still have to open each one and choose a folder, and nothing ever leaves the pile unless you unbookmark it.
Option 2: Review them one at a time in Unstash
Unstash connects to X read-only and imports your bookmarks. Instead of a list, it shows one bookmark at a time, and each swipe, or arrow key on the web, is a decision:
- Keep, swipe right: file the post into a Collection. Unstash suggests a Collection from what you already keep.
- Later, swipe down: the post comes back in your next review.
- Done, swipe left: you read it and it leaves the pile.
- Remove, swipe up: the post leaves Unstash. It stays bookmarked on X.
Every decision can be undone, and Unstash never posts, likes or deletes anything on X. New bookmarks sync in on their own.

What a Collection can do
- Notes in your own words on why you kept something.
- Follow-up actions: a save you meant to act on becomes a to-do, linked to the post.
- Lens turns a Collection into a table or list. Sixty tool posts can become a table with every price in one column.
Bring in your whole history
